Hence she opted for the Ohm Assistant to provide an indication of the power consumption in real time, to serve two requirements. Firstly with high bills, she needed to understand the quantum of usage when using multiple appliances. With some appliances being quite old, it was important to identify the power consumption of these devices, thereby getting a picture of the health of these appliances and impact on the bill. Secondly, when travelling out of Mumbai it was important for her to track & monitor the consumption back home to confirm consumption within limits. Additionally, when guests came visiting, she was interested in getting an idea of the guest consumption by identifying the difference between the elevated consumption and the general consumption.
