He rates the Ohm Assistant high based on his positive experience, helping to monitor power usage and also derive key insights on appliance malfunction and overconsumption. Also he volunteered for the Ohm Assistant special study on Dishwashers, and had a separate bot installed only for the dishwasher, that provided specific insights on use of his dishwasher. Subsequently Dishwasher has been included as a separate category of heavy appliances. Since he regularly travels out of town, the Ohm Assistant has also been useful to remotely monitor home usage to ensure consumption within expected limits.
